Why do I feel like life is too hard for me?

Usually there is a tough phrase in everyone’s life and it is very difficult to go through that . It always depends on the person how they will take it . If you will just stuck on one bad moment and start thinking life is too hard for me then you will never be able enjoy the other good moments . So however bad the moment is you have to accept that and after some time it will pass . I will explain this with one psychology thing which i heard few days back on youtube .

A psychologist walked around a room while teaching stress management to an audience. As she raised a glass of water, everyone expected they'd be asked the "half empty or half full" question.

Instead, with a smile on her face, she inquired: "How heavy is this glass of water?" Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz. She replied, "The absolute weight doesn't matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it's not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed.

In each case, the weight of the glass doesn't change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes." She continued, "The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralysed เป็นอัมพาต– incapable of doing anything." It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses. As early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens ภาระ down. Don't carry them through the evening and into the night. Remember to put the glass down!

Life has never been easy. When they say “It’s a jungle out there” you know they mean it’s “dog-eat-dog” “kill-or-be-killed” “eat-or-be-eaten” and like that. Even though we’re not part of the animal kingdom’s food chain, in recent times, anyway, and the jungle is just a metaphor for human life in the concrete jungle of the City or the hard scrap life (ชีวิตที่ยากลำบาก)in small towns with no more factories and warehouses to work at, or the unsustainable farms ฟาร์มที่ไม่ยั่งยืน with Big Agribusiness ธุรกิจการเกษตร buying up the land…it’s still just as frightening and forbidding น่ากลัวและห้ามปราม to us as the real Jungles of Africa or the Amazon.
Human suffering due to life’s hardshipsความยากลำบากในชีวิต is as old as man, himself. The Buddha started out as a protected and pampered prince who lived inside the walls that separated him and his perfect life from the reality of life on the other side of the wall. When he stole away to discover what was “out there” he was appalled ตกใจ at the suffering he witnessed and his empathy was so overwhelming that he decided to spend his entire life roaming the land until he found a way to help man rise above his immense เวิ้งว้าง suffering. I tell you this to help you see how ancient and widespread suffering is.
What the Buddha discovered is that while our physical suffering of pain and hunger is bad enough, what makes it so horribly intolerable are the thoughts in our minds. The weight of our thoughts about our misery is so massive that we are laid out flat by them, paralyzed, the pain worsened with every living breath.
Thus was born the Buddha’s gift to the world, the end of suffering: The Fourfold Noble Truths and the Eightfold Noble Path.
It’s not necessary for you to become a Buddhist in order to become wise in the ways of suffering and freedom from suffering. You can read about it, if you care to—or not.
But what you need to understand is the role your thoughts play in determining just how hard your life seems to be for you and the depth of your suffering. They are paramount. They can be your worst enemies living right inside your own head with impunity.
When your thoughts tell you that all you have in your life is difficulty and misery, and you believe it, then you will cling to your pain and sorrow like a man to a life raft. You will come to identify with it as part of you or as ALL of you. This attachment to your suffering can and must be broken. By You.
This is why you “feel life is too hard for” you.
======================================================================
It depends on how you look at it. Remember it's easy, medium, or hard for others. You can always change the difficulty settings by doing stuff that doesn't make it hard. If it's hard to get a job you love or an easy job you hate or a medium difficult job and you don't feel strongly about it one way or another change your career path or get a new hobby.

======================================================================
Feeling overwhelmed is not unique and hardly surprising with todays demands and accelerated pace of life. Of course life is hard, it's also not fair or forgiving of those who fall through the cultural and societal cracks.
Here`s the strait scoop, life is the challenge, living it is the choice with being recycled as the next adventure.

Why do I feel like life is too hard for me?” For you as well as for me and everyone who’s reading this answer now.
  • Life doesn’t care what’s your name, where are you from, who are your parents and so on.
  • I compare like to a coin (head and tail), it can be so wonderful and sometime so bitter. Life is a journey and you are the driver, it’s your choice to choose your own destination.
Please don’t take the above picture so serious. My point is that you need challenges in life to push you forward. Take the feedback you get from those who hate you and use them to improve your life.
In short, life is not only unfair to you. But everyone is or has been suffering in life. No one can escape the problems in life and that’s what make us human beings.
Good luck!…hope this helps (check out my profile maybe you might find something which fits for you...I have written so much about life).
Thank U for the A2A too.

We all feel like a “worm living in the bitter radish” in the story, thinking the whole world is inside that bitter radish until one day it can poke its head out seeing a beautiful, sweet world outside.
We will feel our lives hard and dark inside our inherent, closed, subjective cocoons, forced to endlessly, ruthlessly fight, compete in a hostile world until we learn about the true, perfect reality that surrounds us, also learning how we can access it exiting our personal cocoons.

Because you feel overwhelmed.
Taking in life is like eating a big sandwich. You eat that sandwich one bite at a time. When you get full, you wrap up the rest of that sandwich and save it for later.
Everyone gets overwhelmed. Everyone's life is hard. If life were easy, what would be the point of living?
So the best advice I can offer you is to remember my sandwich metaphor. Take as much as you can handle and save the rest for another day. Okay?

I think this is just a habit or a concept you’ve picked up somewhere. We are here of our own free will. We are spirit, soul, intelligent energy pattern. We’re come to accomplish our life purpose. Everyone has challenges and faces some difficulties at times. The thing is to face life bravely and make the most of everything. Life is a great opportunity to learn, grow in awareness and maturity. Be happy within, be joyful and have gratitude. Do meditation and go for walks in nature. Eat real food cooked from scratch. All these things will help your mood.

How old are you? Has everything been handed to you in the past…and now it’s not? Think of yourself as lucky if you have your health. Perhaps see a doctor or some one for talk therapy. OR just get off your butt and do it….maybe you need meditation, and to forgive yourself for something. Life is not all that easy, but if you are writing this website I think you are a person of privilege , mind, and good luck….get on with it!

Just go out and observe people.
You will find Homeless , Beggars , daily wage workers many more.
What's driving them ?
Is your life worse than them ?
They are satisfied with what they have and had Faith inside everything will be fine 2maro.
Just live in the movement.

Perhaps you are blind to all of life’s blessings. You focus on what goes wrong and what is wrong than on what is going well. Perhaps you can only see the faults of others and not their merits. You can’t see good in anyone or anything. It’s all a matter of perception. If you were to consider the idea that things could be worse maybe you would feel a little better.

everything u feel is only a state of mind be it happy or sad or anything.life is hard true but it aint just for you accept whatever comes your way and try to make the best fo evrything that u have.

Unfortunately, life is hard for everybody from time to time. If you take an inventory of your family and friends, you will find that they are enduring things that are probably even more difficult than the challenges that you face. One thing about life, it does go on, and sometimes the things that are hard right now rectify themselves with time.
